Biography
Carrie is a London-based composer and orchestrator working in film, television, games and theatre. She holds an MA in Composing for Film, Television and Games from the National Film and Television School, and a first-class BA in Music from the University of Oxford.
Recent composing projects include the BAFTA Longlisted short Day Out, directed by Gouleilmos Dermon; Glen Fulthorpe’s documentary Hooked, which won the Documentary Short Grand Jury Prize at the Slamdance Film Festival in February 2025, Tushar Bhojwani's Roar of the Tiger, which is screening at the International Wildlife Film Festival this April, and Tulou, a cosy, adventure RPG created by Martianwho Studios and set for release in 2026.
Carrie began her career composing for theatre and has composed, orchestrated and produced the music for two full-length musicals: Persephone, which was nominated for Broadway World's Best New Production of a Musical following it's UK tour in 2022 and IrrePRESSible, which premiered in London before enjoying a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Carrie is currently working with the IrrePRESSible team to prepare for a London run later this year.
Carrie is also an accomplished violinist and holds DipLCM, ATCL and LTCL diplomas in violin performance. She has played on a range of scores including Paramount+’s series The Crow Girl, composed by Adam Price; ITV's new documentary Brianna: A Mother's Story, composed by Mathilde Koechlin's and the Grierson-nominated documentary, Beyond These Walls, composed by Diogo Chaves.
